I was really disappointed to see shaving kits for young boys on prominently on display both in Target's pharmacy and baby areas. Is it really a good idea to encourage children to play with razors? And they have all the popular characters, Thomas the Tank Engine, Spiderman, Cars... weird.

I understand the whole premise of emulating daddy and pretending to do what he does, but a shaving kit is a just weird.
I love the shaving kit. My kids 4 and 6 use it all the time. I think it's a great way for them to get their faces squeaky clean. When I was kid I always wanted to shave with my Dad( I'm a mom) and he would give me a razor with the blade taken out. I think the Thomas version is better than that.
